Faena Art announces the unveiling of Un bárbaro entre las sierras (2019), a new site-specific mural by Juan José Cambre, as part of Guest Galleries, a new series of installations in Faena District that will bring site specific commissions to the neighborhood every three months.

From December 3 through 9, 2018, the inaugural Faena Festival, This is Not America, is keyed to Miami’s enduring role as a port that welcomes migrants, refugees, and tourists from across the US and the Americas, and from countries throughout the world. The festival engages with the multiplicity of communities and cultures and the palimpsest of histories that have created the Americas while responding specifically to Miami as its hemispheric hub. All programming is free and open to the public.

Faena Art announces Melodies of Certain Damage (Opus 2) by artist Naama Tsabar. For her first solo exhibition in Argentina, the New York-based, Israeli artist will take over Faena Art Center Buenos Aires with a site-sensitive and immersive sculptural and sonic installation and performance to coincide with Art Basel Cities: Buenos Aires.
