Suzi Analogue, a producer, songwriter, composer and founder of Never Normal Records that aims to highlight creators from the African Diaspora, will be working on several projects at the Forum. These include audio/visual recordings utilizing synthesized sound and a motion picture sponsored in part by a Teenage Engineering artist fellowship, a new initiative supporting artists of color in the music industry.
“Right now, more than ever, the worldwide conversation everyone should be having is how we can bring communities together and heal from the mass devastation and inequity that groups of people are facing daily. Unity is the concept we should imagine when we think to the future and artists are amplifiers of imagination. Artists have the ability to highlight and empower our differences as people, and bring people together. That is what I am to do with my collective Never Normal and my art practice during my artist residency at Faena”, says Suzi Analogue.
