Comprised of artists Daygee Kwia and Eddy Samy, Paperwater is an avant-garde production duo fusing alternative electronic and Hip Hop with hints of indie. While in residence, Paperwater will finalize The Florida Project, a collaborative album featuring various Florida-based artists, in addition to recording studio sessions and new creative content.
“The residency would impact our current work by allowing us to keep the momentum we had before Covid. We have a beautiful space like the Faena Forum to look at everyday to inspire us to create great art. It also serves as a time chamber because instead of the usual distractions we had in our normal lives, the forum is a quiet space where no one can bother you from your process”, commented Paperwater.
